When applying for an executive position, is it customary for a potential employer to have you feel out a job application? Or do they just go with a resume?

It is their prerogative to ask you to fill out an application. It would not be an insult.

They will also ask you to fill out an I-9 and probably a W-4.

I was recently appointed as Executive Director of a division of my organization. My previous roles in the organization have been in project management and finance, and now I’m leading a human rights division. I have been in this job for a month, and I am actively looking for jobs because I jsut finished my MBA and want to get back into financial analysis or project management / procurement but in the private sector. Should I put this job on my resume?

Why wouldn’t you put it on your resume? It is your current job title, you would match it with your current employer.

How much should a video resume cost?

Question by lunateec: How much should a video resume cost?
I’m a freelance video editor but its my first time to work on a video resume. I just thought it would not cost that much since it’s only a 60-second video showing how the applicants talk/etc.

I make the concept, i use my own tools (camera, software), i do the shooting/editing and I burn it using my own blank dvd. I do everything.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
